Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on November 27, 2016 in his 81st year.
John will be missed by Sheila, his beloved wife of 53 years and his daughters Beth Warren (Marc Graham), Barbra (Mark Dineen) and Lara (Joe Bau). Grandpa was much loved by his grandchildren, Katy (Brandon) & Joshua; Madeleine, Alex & Ava; and Jacob, Rachel & Luke. His loss is also felt by his sisters Laura (Martin) and Halisjah and his many nieces and nephews and his extended family in Pembroke. John was a graduate of Ryerson and spent over 30 years as an Electrical Foreman at Dofasco. He was known for his home handyman skills, and his love of both golf and running – still working out at almost 81 years old. Many thanks to the excellent care team at the Juravinski Hospital Ward C4 and ICU.Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton) on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm – 9pm. A Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11am.
