Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 29, 2016 in his 92nd year. Loving husband of the late Noella Beaudoin. Loving father of Ginette Atkinson(Peter), Claudette Fleury(Noel), Monique Langille(Allen), Michel Gauthier(Cindy), and Daniel Gauthier(Billie Jo). Loving P’pere of 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Loving brother in law of Lisette and Bill Day. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gerry was retired from Amcan Castings after 37 years of service as well as 20 years of service as a Concession Manager at Burlington Beach Amusement Park. Words cannot express our gratitude to the staff of Norview Lodge in Simcoe, their warm and compassionate care will always be remembered. As per Gerard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday December 29, 2016 at 11am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A celebration of Gerry’s Life will be held at 5 pm on Friday December 30, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 123 (223 Nichol St W, Waterford, ON N0E 1Y0).
