Jakabffy: Theresa Joan

Theresa passed away at home, after a lengthy battle with cancer, on Sunday, December 11, 2016, Theresa Joan Jakabffy (nee Yantha), in her 71st year. Beloved wife of the late Steven Jakabffy. Mother of Jennifer Jakabffy (Joshua Blair) and Theodore Jakabffy. Grandmother of Brycen Littlewood. Sister of Bernadette (Giovanni) Masut, Laureen (Paul) Ash, Donna (John) Luck. Sister in law of Helen Ferleyko, Joseph Jakabffy, Elizabeth Mallory and Velma Crumblehulme. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Theresa was a retiree of the OLG Slots and Casinos in Fort Erie. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will take place at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Avenue South in Hamilton, on Tuesday January 3rd at1 pm. The family will receive friends starting at 12 o’clock. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
