Peacefully on January 12, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, Kenneth passed away in his 100th year. Predeceased in 1964 by his first love Bertha, Ken is now survived by Helen, his cherished wife of 41 years. Father of Wayne Langton (Sandy), Wendy Riley (Phil), Karen Sisson (Terry), and the late Arthur Penner (Karen). Grandfather of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ken served with the RCAF from 1939 to 1945 and was retired from W.J. Westaway Co. of Hamilton in 1977. An avid golfer, he belonged to courses in Florida and locally; most recently Sawmill Golf Course. At Ken’s request, there will be no formal visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lincoln County SPCA, 4th Avenue St. Catharines ON marked specifically for their trap-neuter-release program would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff at St. Elizabeth Villa and the team of doctors; Dr. Legassie, Dr. Schunemann, Dr. Elliot and their colleagues at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Ken during his stay.
