The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rev. Allen Cook can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Family,
We were truly blessed several years ago to have Rev. Cook be our part time minister. He brought life back into our services with the learning of new canticles, and of course his positive outlook on life. His sermons were brief, but had a huge impact on all who listened to God's word.
We loved his sense of humour, and after church this past Sunday we spoke of our beloved Rev. Cook, with great smiles, and stories to tell.
May your stories, be your treasure trove for tomorrow.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of attending Allen's funeral this morning at Christ's Church Cathedral in Hamilton. Although I never met him, I have very strong ties to St. Andrew's in New Carlisle. My father, Harold, is buried there. So is my aunt and uncle (Betty and Ivan Flowers, another uncle (Roland Grant Brown) and my grandparents (John Hudson "Hut" Brown and Ethel Keays Brown). Sending sincere condolences to the Cook family from our entire family, including my many cousins here in the Toronto area, New Brunswick, Ottawa, northern Quebec and elsewhere. If anyone from New Carlisle reads this and wants to connect with me, email me at any time. RIP Allen and thank you for your service to a church that I will always love and cherish.
