Grant, Louise Anne
Louise Anne Grant, daughter of the late Robert and Eileen Grant (née Flynn), died quietly at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 52 on the morning of January 17th, 2017. Louise was a spirited, intelligent, and generous woman who led a passionate life, moving from a career on the road as a manager in the Rock and Roll industry to a career in nursing. A compassionate and dedicated nurse, she particularly asked her family to remember and thank the many health care workers who did so much over the years to give her health and comfort. Louise’s companions in recent years will miss her dearly: aunt Lorraine Flynn, cousins Larry O’Gorman (Linda) and Matt O’Gorman (Vivian Moens); first cousins once removed Lucas, Gillis, Emily, Dillon, Leah, Shannon and Tristan; and friends Boyd & Sandy Smith and Teresa DeCoste. She was predeceased by her cousin and friend Shelagh O’Gorman. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Monday, Jan 23rd, 2017, at 11 a.m. with a service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12 p.m.
