The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Frank Kawai can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Family,

My mother and father, Dr. John Trueman and Dawn Trueman, knew Mr. Kawai through his mountain business. He was a supremely good clock repair man and my parents knew he would always be skilled and honest. He came to our home to service our antique grandfather clock and many other time pieces that my parents had. They held him in high esteem and were fascinated with stories he told about his personal history.
Many thanks to him for his outstanding work in Hamilton and for his generosity to my family.
