It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Hawkes at the age of 93 years on April 13, 2017 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved husband for 65 years to Irene (nee Mascarin). Loving father of Jane Toth (Louis), and Bill Hawkes (Maria). Dear grandpa of Kyle, Kyra, Mitchell, and Abigail. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Ave. South on Monday, April 17th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be said on Monday at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King on Tuesday, April 18th at 12pm. Burial to take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations to the Good Shepherd Centres would be appreciated by the family. On-line condolences can be made to www.dermodys.com
