Condolence From: Bishop Dan Miehm a.k.a. "Fr. Dan"
Condolence: Dear Ross and family, I was so saddened to hear of Barb's passing. My years as pastor at St. Ann's Parish in Ancaster were blessed ones, in large part because of people like Barb. I always appreciated her kindness, sunny disposition, rock solid faith, and her heart to help others. She was a dedicated parish volunteer and, with Ross, very kindly hosted me on more than a few occasions. Lots of good memories! My recent move to Peterborough kept me from being at any of the funeral rites for Barb. But know that my prayers are with all of you at this time.

Condolence From: Paul and Lorraine Harrison
Condolence: Dear Ross and family, We were very sorry to hear that Barb had died although we knew she had been suffering for quite awhile. Barb was the first person we met after moving to Ancaster in 1978. She was so warm and welcoming she made us feel happy to be here. Her generous personality and love of family was contagious, a truly wonderful person. Our condolences to all of her family members but maybe especially to Kevin, whom Paul and I have grown to know well. Your Mom was a beautiful human being and it is reflected in you, your brothers and sisters and all their children. Love, Paul and Lorraine

While we have seldom crossed paths since your wedding at St John' Parish, I have been regularly aware of your wonderful marriage as well as Barb's health challenges. In a world of confused values you and Barb have been like a stained glass window through which the love of God has shone. "Blessed are those who die in the Lord, for their good deed go with them". Condolence From: Kevin Hogan
Condolence: Dear Ross and children, I have not seen Barb (or Ross) for many years, but I will always remember the day in 1961 when Ross and Barb (then dating) came to see us and our new baby (Patti Lynn) at our apartment at Mohawk and James in Hamilton. Barb held the baby in her arms for the longest time, and I think that may have been the day that she decided she wanted to be a mom. My sincere condolences in the loss of a loving wife and caring mother. Kevin Hogan, Calgary.
