We announce, with profound sadness, the passing of Gertraud Hirschmann on May 2, 2017, at Juravinski Hospital. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Henry, brother Gunter, sister Ilsa (Don), and children Peter (Michelle) and Dieter (Lynda). Cherished grandmother of Peter Jr. (Leanne), Richard (Emily) and Sarah, and great-grandmother of Steven, Natasha, and August. Predeceased by her brother Heinz. She retired from St. Joseph's Hospital after 35 years service. No services will be held, but donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or a charity of your choice.
