Marguerite Babcock
My father, Bill Kula, taught with Father Phil for many years at Cathedral Boys' High School. I met Father Phil when I was a teenager and he was a guest in our home for many many years. He was a wonderful human being, a witty raconteur, a delightful dinner companion and an amazing priest. Dad called him "Speedy" when Father Phil delivered an outstanding quick sermon on a hot summer Sunday. It was Father Phil whom my Dad wanted to see when he was at the end of his life. He will be missed.
