Czepita, Stella (nee Taranczuk)

It is with broken hearts that we regretfully announce the passing of Stella Czepita on June 7, 2017 at the age of 92. Peacefully surrounded by her family, Stella is predeceased by her husband John Czepita and her son John Jr. (2012). Beloved mother of Rick Czepita. Loving Babci of Andrea (Steve) Elms, Renee (Jordan) Blum , Ben Czepita (Veronica), and Michael (Alessandra) Czepita. Great Babci to Cole, Ava, Charlotte, Zoey, Jaxon, and Savannah. Dear mother-in-law of Michele Czepita. Dear Aunt of Margy Whitehorn. She will be remembered and missed by many friends and family. Stella will be fondly remembered for spending time with her family and sharing her love of baking and cooking. Thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital – 3 East for all of your compassion, care, and kindness, and to those special individuals who went above and beyond throughout her stay. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Thursday, June 8th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. with a Prayer Vigil at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Friday, June 9th at 10am. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
