Sophie Dykun passed away peacefully June 19, 2017 in her 96th year. Sophie was the loving wife of Michael Dykun. Cherished Mother of Lawrence (Constance), Janice (Joseph), Melanie (Rick), Tonie (David). Loving Baba of Rhianah, Mickiah, Daniel, Brandon (Amanda), Erin, Lauren (Matthew), Rochelle, Carley, Joel, Julia and Luke. Great Baba of Eli, Gavin, Sophia and Stella. Survived by sisters Annie, Stella, Mary and Nellie. Special friend to Rose Sands. Mom your inspiration and love will stay with us forever. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell), on Thursday, June 22, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be held on Thursday at 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church 694 Upper James St Hamilton ON on Friday, June 23rd, 2017 at 10am. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, McMaster Children’s Hospital or the CNIB would be greatly appreciated.
