MALLEY, Shirley Patricia

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Shirley Malley with family by her side, on September 23, 2017 at the age of 75. Loving mother of Clifford (Darlene), Randy, and Kathleen (Roger). Proud grandmother of Miranda (Anthony), Logan, Madison, and Sean. Ecstatic Great-grandmother of Anakin. Survived by her sisters Helen (Ervin) and Francine. Mother at heart to Carine, Nancy, Debbie, Patrick, and Danik. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Noel and Kathleen, and sister Marlene (Tony). She had a passion for painting, helping people (especially children), and dogs. Special thanks to the staff at Macassa Lodge for making her feel at home and independent, and the nurses and Dr. Raza at Juravinski Hospital E3 for their special care and compassion. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Avenue, on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Stephen on the Mount Church (625 Concession Street) on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu flowers, donations to the President’s Choice Children’s Charity would be appreciated by the family.
