Condolence From: Elaine (Luchak) Small
Condolence: Dear Paul, Peter, Andrew and David

This is Elaine Small, daughter of your father's brother, your Uncle George. I wanted to pass on how sorry I was to hear of your mother's death. Having only four months ago lost my own father, I can empathize with how you must be feeling right now. We were lucky to have my father and your mother for so long but it hurts nonetheless, doesn't it?

While I haven't seen Aunt Eileen in many years I remember her personality and face so well. I remember her as having a strong sense of self, a 'can-do' attitude and a wonderful smile. She was a great complement to Uncle Bill and it was very sad when she was widowed so young, but I'm sure her strength and determination provided immeasurable comfort to her four boys during all these years.

I'm sure you, your spouses and children, will miss her terribly but please know that you are in our thoughts.

Best regards,
Elaine

Condolence: Dear Peter, Paul, David, Andrew & Luchak Family
I extend my sympathies to all of you on the passing of your beautiful mother. She was truly a joyous caring soul who shared her love and kindness not only with her beloved family, but with everyone she met. Her faith was unshakeable as was her immense pride in her children and grandchildren. She always brought a smile to my face whenever I was blessed to be in her presence. Please know my prayers are with her and all of you. With sympathy & sadness, Scotty

Condolence: Dear Luchak Family,

I was very sorry to hear the news of Mrs. Luchak's passing. I remember meeting her over 30 years ago and the one thing that struck me was what a strong, passionate woman she was. I remember sharing stories with Andrew and David about our mothers having graduated from the same Dietetics program at the University of Manitoba and how they brought us up to always, or at least try, to be mindful of eating healthily.:) I truly believe our mothers were ahead of their time!

I know you are so sad to finally say good-bye but know that your mother will forever be remembered for being the strong woman behind your amazingly successful father and the supportive and loving mother and grandmother that was so loved by her family. God Bless you all and please know that I will be keeping the Luchak family in my thoughts and my prayers.

With Love,
Kathy

Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Luchak family. I feel fortunate to have known Eileen for many, many years, and I treasure happy memories of our times together. She really was one of a kind: friendly, caring, generous, funny, and persuasive! I can still hear her greeting: “Hi Kooma…”

Rest in peace, Eileen,

Sincerely, Jean Keating

Condolence: Dear Andrew, Cathy, Caitlyn, William, Simon, and Jenna,
Although it has been a really long time, I remember your mum/grandmother with fondness. As you prepared to get married and when the kids arrived, I enjoyed getting to know Eileen. I know she figured large in your lives and will be missed very much. I also know she loved you all. My heartfelt condolences on this loss and hope you will take heart in her long, well lived life.

Peace.
