Gahagan, Margaret nee Clancy

Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on January 2, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Noel for 64 years. Loving mother of Timothy (Janet), Jan Marie (Peter DeRooy), Peter(Dianne), Brad (the late Beth), Patrick (Lana), and Matthew. Cherished grandmother of Clancy, Morgan, Sydney, Deryn, Conor, Jennifer, Diane, Bryan, Bethany, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Claire, Noel, Kyle, and Holly. Margaret is pre-deceased by her sister Ann. Margaret will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was a long-time member of the CWL at St. Margaret Mary Parish. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Thursday January 11, 2018 from 6-9 PM. Vigil Prayers will be said at 8:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (20 Idlewood Ave.) on Friday January 12, 2018 at 11 AM. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery with a reception to follow. Donations can be made to Hamilton Health Sciences.
