Condolence: I worked closely with Carolyn for several months. She was one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met. She spoke of her family often, and it was clear that there was an immense amount of love in her home.
Carolyn was an unsung hero; someone who lifted up those around her in this world without needing accolades. I respected her for her professionalism and integrity. She did her job well, which meant not making excuses for the students in her care but rather helping where help was needed and encouraging the students to take responsibility for their own learning wherever they were capable. Certainly the education world has suffered a huge loss.
The world is a little darker now that one of its brightest lights is out of it. Carolyn will be deeply missed.
