Stark, Gary Reginald

Surrounded by his loving family in his 65th year, it is with deep sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gary Stark on May 19, 2018. Devoted father to Alexis (Jason) and Richard and proud Papa to Jordan. Predeceased by his mother Mary Bernice. Loving son to James (Hilda), and brother to Kate (Barry), Wayne (Patti) and Mark. Survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and step brothers and sister. Many relatives in Nova Scotia, PEI, Northern Ontario and Western Canada. Gary will be remembered as very devoted to his family and friends with a kind and loving heart and touched so many lives in a positive way. Gary was as a proud member of Local 67 Plumbers, Pipefitters & Welders Union for 35 years. Visitation at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave., Hamilton on Thursday, May 24 and Friday, May 25 from 6-9pm. Funeral Service will take place at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home on Saturday, May 26 at 11am. The family expresses their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the compassionate staff of St. Peter’s Hospital and Juravinski Hospital. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St.Peter’s Hospital Foundation & (CAP) Cancer Assistance Program.
