Obituary for Ema Do Carmo Matos (Salcedas)
MATOS, EMA (nee Salcedas)
Passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital with family by her side on June 6th 2018 in her 90th year. Ema was born in 1927 in Aldeia Do Carvalho, Portugal where she lived until 1968 when she moved to Hamilton with her husband and daughter. Ema is predeceased by her devoted husband, Raul Matos, her dearest husband of 45 years and her sister, Alice Salcedas.
Joseph and Dina will miss their Vóvó very much. They brought her great joy throughout her life. She will also be greatly missed by her devoted daughter Aldina and Anthony as well as all the Hansens; David, Nicolle, Alison, Kaitlyn, Natalie and Ema’s friend Patricia. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Annunciation of Our Lord Church (280 Limeridge Rd W) on Monday June 11th 2018 at 10:00am.
