Life Story for Winifred Lamont
On December 22 1929, Winifred was born to Mary and John Thompson in Northern Ireland, the 3 rd of 4 children. She met Adam Lamont at the tender age of 15 and married him at 18 years old. They immigrated to Canada in 1948, settled in Hamilton, Ontario, and had two children there; Kenneth in 1951 and Karen in 1955. Since then their happy family grew to include 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Winnie (Mom, Nana) has given all of her family and friends countless happy times to
remember. Her love lives on in all of us.
