Newport, John “Paul”

Peacefully with his wife by his side, after a lengthy illness, Paul Newport died on July 8, 2018 at the Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Janette (nee Inglis) for 53 years. Loving father of Michael (Crystal). Dear brother of Janet (Ron), and Judy (Peter). Dear brother-in-law of Ellen (Bruce) and Bill (Donna). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his faithful companion Penelope. Paul was a retired employee of Associated Springs with over 30 years of service. He was a dedicated volunteer with the Stoney Creek Fire Department and Extendicare. At Paul’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
