Lajos "Louie"  Pocsai
POCSAI, Lajos (Louis)
Peacefully, at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, on Friday August 17, 2018, Lajos Pocsai in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Ilona. Loved father of Alex and his wife Eszter, and loving grandfather of Eliza, Loren, and Kristof. He will be sadly missed by his closest companion and soulmate Irma Farkas and her family. Dearly missed by members of the Balinfy family, his brothers and sister in law, Bela, Ildikó and Peter Kocsis, as well as many cousins and relatives in Hungary. Predeceased by his 3 sisters and 1 brother. Lajos owned and operated OK Delicatessen on James St. N. for over 25 years. Visitation at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Tuesday, August 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary being offered at 8:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church, 130 Barton Street East, on Wednesday, August 22 at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Ancaster. Memorial donations to St. Stephen of Hungary Church, Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. www.dermodys.com.
