ENGELHARDT, Mathilde Maria (nee Zorell)

Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on July 16th 2017 in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husband Stefan and daughter Sandra. Lovingly remembered by her children Joanne, Wendy and Steven (Diane). Omi will missed be missed by her grandchildren Anthony, Rebeca, Tristen, Izaac, Alexander and Joshua and her great granddaughter MaKenzie. She leaves behind an extended family in Germany who lovingly referred to her as Hilde the Wilde. She will also be missed by her many friends and neighbours. We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and PSWs who provided our mother with care over the last three years. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Mom we watched you live, love, laugh and cry. We also watched you suffer which broke our hearts. You are now with Opa and Sandra. Please watch over us all. We will miss you every day. Rest in peace Mom. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 796 Upper Gage Ave (between Mohawk and Fennell) On Wednesday July 19th 2017 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday July 20th 2017 time to be confirmed. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
