Passed away surrounded by his family on March 8, 2018 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 33. Loving husband of Katie and his beloved French Bulldog, Henri. Treasured son of the late Bill and Linda Royle. Devoted brother of Corey(Jess Cobian). Honourary son of Maureen Garner(Bill Bray). Cherished grandson of Dick and Lois Royle and Mary Garner and the late Leslie. He will be greatly missed by his best friend, Jurek Smolen and many family, friends, and co-workers. A special thank you to Adam Jefferess for all his support. Ryan was honoured and incredibly proud to be a Constable for the Hamilton Police Service. A special thanks to Dr. Leber and the Hematology Unit at the Juravinski Hospital. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Avenue S., on Sunday March 11, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday March 12, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King, 714 King St. W. on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stem Cell Transplant Campaign through the Juravinski Hospital.
