Passed away peacefully on March 9, 2018 at his home at the age of 77. Loving husband of Marcella for 49 years. Caring father of Franklin Joseph and his wife Rachael, and Marsha Fontaine. Treasured Papa of Kerwin, Nikessa, Ryckardo, and Kaileez. Cherished brother of Ralph, Leo, the late Sedon, and the late Antonia. Supportive uncle of Judith (Agid), Ferdinia, Francis, Magdaline, Sylma, Marilyn, Daniel, Gabriel and many nieces, nephews, family and friends at home and overseas. Azar/ Bel/ Balty/ Skara will always be remembered as the best deep sea diver in Dominica and his love of fishing and gardening. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Thursday March 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena, Our Lady of Lourdes Site, 416 Mohawk Rd. E. on Friday March 16, 2018 at 11 AM. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Lung Association or the Commonwealth of Dominica Relief Fund would be appreciated by the family.
