Condolences

Condolence From: Beverley Johnson
Condolence: Although I had not seen him since our university days at St. Patrick’s College in Ottawa In the late 1960’s, as soon as I heard of his death, I remembered his optimism, humour and kindness. My prayers are with Chris, his family and friends, and his Oblate community, to whom he was so dedicated. God bless! Bev (Willett) Johnson

Condolence: Fr. Chris was a man with many attributes, a man of profound faith and a wonderful English teacher. I was able to appreciate English on so many levels as he always stated “there was no wrong answer”. I would be entranced whenever he read excerpts from any play, novel or poem – he was gifted! What a treasure he was to many people, may he rest in peace.

Condolence: Fr. Chris became my close friend while we were colleagues at Labrador City Collegiate. He was a dedicated teacher respected by both students and colleagues. He had an awesome sense of humor and a zest for life, teaching and serving his parishioners. I am deeply saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I offer my sincerest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
