It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our father, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend. Beloved husband of the late Joanne Bayards and loving father of Christopher (Carole), Joseph (Tammy). Grandpa of Kari, Kati (David), Laura (Nick) and Michelle (Jake). Great-grandpa to Gavin, Danny, Sophie and Joseph. Richard will sadly be missed by all of his family in Holland. Very special thank you to Richard’s long time friend Robert Barlow for all of his support. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Ave.) on Thursday, September 13, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with a chapel service at 8 p.m. Cremation to follow.
