Obituary for Brooke Robert Ryan
It is with great sadness that we announce Brooke quietly passed away in his 78th year. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Sharon, son Stephen and daughter Tammy (Shelly). Pre-deceased by brothers Frank and Bruce (Helen), and his sisters Margaret and Barbara, he will also be deeply missed by Sisters Mary (Douglas Taylor) and Ronnie (Ryan) as well as all of his extended family and friends.
Following a long career with Slater Steel, Brooke found a passion for photography and will be remembered for his talents as both a wedding and nature photographer.
Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue on Sunday May 19th from 1 to 3pm. A chapel service will be held at the funeral home at 3pm with cremation to follow. A special thank you to both George Winchester and Reverend Lola for their kindness and support over the past months. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ridgeview Longterm Care or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
