DUNLOP, Edith Franey (nee McDaid)
Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on June 17th, 2019 at the Hamilton General Hospital in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband Hugh (1971). Cherished mother of Kathleen Malloy (Robert), Christopher (Hazel), Elizabeth Jeffery (Craig), Terence (Ali), Donald (Cynthia) and Jillian Kelly (Mark). Much loved grandma to Christopher Malloy (Melissa) and Andrew Malloy (Erin), Stephen Jeffery (Olena) and Michael Jeffery (Brandi), Katherine Whittaker (John), Rachel Rowland and Colin Dunlop (Olesya), Liam Dunlop, Brooke Kelly and Quinn Kelly. Devoted GG to Ashley, Isabelle, Madden, Emery, Isaac, Gwen, Aubrey and Terence. GGG to Nash. Predeceased by her brother Bill McDaid and sister-in-law Eleanor McDaid. Will be missed by her niece Janet McDaid. Edith retired from Westinghouse Canada in Hamilton, Ontario in 1986 and spent many years travelling and enjoying her family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, June 21st from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Regina Mundi Church on Saturday, June 22nd at 10am. Burial to take place at a later date at Woodland Cemetery.
