It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Tony Wienk in his 95th year. He was surrounded by his daughter and son-in-law on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at St. Peters Hospital. Beloved husband and lifetime partner of Lena (1999). Beloved dad of Donald (2016) and his wife RuthAnne, Yvonne and her husband George Plant. Beloved Opa of Kimberly and her husband Dale. Ryan and his wife Kristina, Tracy and her husband Adam, Darcy, Bradley and his wife Hannan. Taylor and his wife Lina. Beloved great-grandfather of Caleb, Callie, Dustin, Lilly, Yaseen and Rayan. Tony was a long-time employee of Firestone tire. Special thank you to the staff at St. Peters for all the love and care for Tony. At his request, a private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
