Klus, Chester Paul

Peacefully surrounded by his family on December 26, 2019, Chester Klus died in his 98th year. Beloved husband of the late Sophie Klus (nee Stodolak). Loving father of Paul, Stephen, Donald (Sandra McIlwraith), and Cynthia. Dear Dziadzio of Marley, Sadie, and Griffin. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Benny, Lillian, John, Mike, and Orla. Chester was a decorated Canadian Military Veteran (Lincoln and Welland Regiment) of WWII and a POW. Dear Don, Stephen, Paul and Cynthia, I am very sad to hear today of the passing of your dear father and our Uncle Chester.
Had I known I would have preferred to offer my condolences and prayers in person, but the news came too late.
His humour and pleasant manner were always something you could count on to make you smile and feel blessed for being in his presence, such a gentle man who now rests in peace.
I will share the news with my brothers but know that we will have you in our thoughts and prayers, God bless you all.
Ben Martin, and brothers Jim, Rob & Tom

Mr. Klus was a long time client of TDCanada Trust. I’m now retired but please know that sometimes a client crosses a line and becomes a very dear friend . He was that to me. A gentleman who was a pleasure to see whenever he came in...he will be missed.
