GRIFFITHS, Helen May

Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on November 7, 2016 in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband Dave Griffiths. Loving mother of James Williams and the late Vera May(Ernie). She will be missed by her 7 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Rose “Isabel” Scozzaro and Florence Dougall. Helen was an avid dog lover. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of F3 at the Juravinski Hospital. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Avenue) on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Helen’s life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
