It was my good fortune to meet Steve when I was a young engineer starting my first job and he was an experienced operator at Procter and Gamble. Steve was kind enough to take myself and another young engineer under his wing and teach us about what it meant to be a manager and to relate to people. It was our privilege to beome friends with him and his family for almost 50 years, many golf games and euchre games, lots of laughs and far too many beers.  We never forgot and always appreciated his kindness and friendship and will remember him always.
