Jaques Rene Carignan, known as "Jack," passed away peacefully at Emmanuel House, October 22, 2017, at the age of 65 years. A native of Quebec, Jack lived in Hamilton for the latter part of his life, enjoying hockey, music, Tim Horton’s steeped tea with 5 milks, and his love of cats. Jack was independent, authentic, and grateful. Those who knew him became quickly attached to this special man. He was close to his late mother Phyllis Carignan, and often talked about his younger brother Ray Carignan. Visitation at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 7 East Avenue South, Hamilton, Friday, October 27, 2017 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, followed by a Chapel Service in the funeral home at 1pm. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington.
