Never without his pad & pencil
Some years ago HMTC sang in the church at Whitevale. Following the concert we arranged a "wine & cheese" at my daughter (Karen) and son-in-law's(John) home, across from the church. John Evenden was also an HMTC member.
A few days later Karen received a thank you note from John. On the front of it was sketched their yard in Whitevale.
John was always the thoughtful one..
