The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nadia Dixon-O'Connor can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Nadia was always making the best of things

I knew Nadia when she was in a lot of pain, but still working about three years ago.  Her back pain was really making things difficult for her. 

We would talk when she took a break from cleaning classrooms.  I would be staying late after school and we would talk about all kinds of things from religion, to the school, politics.  It was interesting how much we both agreed on things, even though I am Roman Catholic and she was from the Protestant/Holiness stream of Christianity.

I moved to another school and that relationship that we had was broken.  I wish now that I had talked to her more.
